When & for how long was this RED POINTER used ??.. I have seen only a very few & it is not noted in J/S that I could find ??..

They are quite rare. I believe they were used just before the change over to the round speedometer. Is there a date code on the back of the speedometer to help us nail down the dating?

My 1930 Sport Coupe has the red pointer, either or in mid 30?

Marco Tahtaras' famous 1930 Deluxe roadster has a round speedometer with the red triangle indicator. As seen on his web site http://www.abarnyard.com/roadster2/index.htm
