Default A little help with engine identification (not a Ford)

This vehicle was in with a large automotive stash up in the hills. I've been struggling to identify it. I figured it would be easy peasy for this community.

There is an indent on the grille shell which held the badge that may offer a clue. The motor looks similar to a Metzger 4 cyl. but I haven't been able to find a 6 cyl. photo.

Thanks again for humoring a non-Model T post.

Post this on the AACA.org website for ID. They have a thread just for "What is it?"

Thanks. I was told it was a 20's Studebaker Super 6. Neat!

It looks more like an earlier engine and radiator to me. Maybe 1916-1918. Yes, Studebaker. I think the hood might be off of something else and earlier.
Hope you find out more.
