Default Successful local Swap Meet today South WA State

Thanks the Brislawn and J Corey [V8 rg 10] for a compact local Swap today in Vancouver, WA on private property with a bit of spill onto the closed city st. I saw all our local fellows and made some purchases. It was packed- lots of visiting. Coffee and donuts by donations. No rain, even some traditional old built '32s ect. Cruiz'n the nearby streets saw more nice cars. Forgot my camera! Newc

The quarter patches and tail are relatively easy, the rusted off rain gutters is a HUGE job to fix right. Think Kube's current picture! The gutters are on a flange that is sandwiched and welded between the top and the rest of the body. Probably a candidate for leading in the seams.

Thanks for the interest on the '39. All in my life is stalled as a huge realestate deal is in the works till June 1. Newc

I was there and enjoyed the feeling of returning to "normal". First swap meet around here for many months.

Signature is similar to my opening line when introducing fractions, back when I taught school...5 out of 4 people do not understand fractions. Hands in air clued me as to who did.

This classic car will probably be an excellent restoration project. Btw, do you intend to put 30 inch rims and tires on that vehicle? It seems that it will require bigger wheels and tires considering its appearance or maybe a smaller one because 30 inches is too big.

Hi all; There is a real story in the 3 different 40 cpe tails. I like the heavy EMT but the gutter is wrong. May stay with the carpenter/Drake versions. Updates in June. Newc
