Default Rewinding a Horn

Some time ago, I saw here details on how to rewind a Model A horn for 12 volts but I can't find it now. Does anybody have the info please. I recall it gave the number of turns and gauge of wire for both 12 and 6 volts. Mine are 12 volts.
I've given up trying to keep a crappy horn working. I know there is a sector on the commutator that is not doing anything so a rewind is in order.

Thanks, Al. That is the one. Now all I have to do is find some 24 g wire or close to it - we are metric. 24 g is 0.5105 mm dia. 0.5 will likely do, I hope.

My conversion chart shows 24 AWG converts to .020-inch or 0.51 mm. Magnet or winding wire should be available in sizes comparable to that. A lot of the stuff made here in the US is .556 mm average diameter. Australia may recognize CSA or cross sectional area as the preferable gauge but I don't know for certain. A lot of stuff comes from China now days so who knows what unit of measure they use. As long as it's close to .5 mm or .20 square mm or slightly more then it should be good to go.

Try an electric motor rewind shop, if you can find one.
