Re: Side Mirror Installation Question
I used dual color LED lights in my cowl lights. Shine white for the cowl lights, amber for turn signals. I left the clear lenses in there.

Re: Side Mirror Installation Question
Well, like mentioned here, I was lucky with my results on the passenger side. The drivers side wouldn't budge. After the first unsuccessful attempts I placed a Snyders order for their extraction tool. While waiting for arrive gave few nights of sprays, center punch attempts but no go. When the tool arrived, I assembled it, placed it on the hinge, and immediately I saw progress. It was very easy to operate, and within a few minutes the pin was extracted. Looking at some of the other posts I will still consider myself lucky, not having to use torches, etc, but the tool was definitely the key.
I will also state after a short drive (yes, in Upstate NY we had a 50 degree day and I was actually able to do an early road salt free ride in December) although I experienced the huge benefit of having the side mirrors, I will be looking into a 5" to try as it would give better view range. Thanks to all for your input!! |
