Default 28 roadster pickup colours

Hi,
I know in this step of my restoration is too early to think in Body Colours, but I'm a little anxious about the original colours for this type of Model A.
Someone could tell me which were the original colours combinations ?
I saw some good restorations painted green and red, but to be honest, I was thinking in gray and black.
Were gray/black original colours correct for a 28 Pickup Roadster ?
Cheers and tks in advance.
Charlie

Are these the US colors or the ones available in Argentina? Do you have a reference?

As stated in the standards and restoration guide.

Hi many thanks.
So this combination of black fenders and gray body would not be correct for a 1928 Pickup Roadster ?

Looks "right enough" for me... I like it. It is your car, do what makes you happy. I have seen some personal colors, some awful, some good. This looks like an option Henry would approve of.

The first color is for the body and the second one is for the beltline. Fenders are always black. Your beltline appears to be black when it should be gray. The only difference color makes is if you get the car fine point judged.

Hi,
Many thanks for your replies, but the car showed it's not mine unfortunately.
My questions were :
1.- original factory colors for a 28 Roadster Pick-up
2.- can be painted as shown in the pic ?(gray and black)
3.- What exactly is the beltline ? (Sorry I'm new with Model A)
Could somebody post a picture?
Cheers and thanks in advance,
Charlie

Beltline is the strip on top and bottom of door.

I think those colors look great. Is that a cream pinstrip added? That looks sharp, too.

Isn't it true a commercial vehicle could be painted any color?
