Hi,
I need some help with this part. I would like to replace this part for a new one, but I didn't find it in any of my Part List Catalogues (Mac's- Snyders- Bratton's) Uploaded with ImageShack.us Any idea or help would be appreciate. Cheers and tks, Charlie Saguier

I don't think they are being reproduced. You will probably have to find a good original.

Re: Help - find a new part
can you use a Dremel and deepen the grooves? Are the little springs on the rods in good shape?

Chisel to make the grooves better. This works better because it pushes the surrounding metal up.
Make sure your rods are back to the original diameter. Works way better then I thought it would. I was told to do this a long time ago by those who know A's. |

Re: Help - find a new part
I would fix it the way Kevin said, then when the steering is all done put a dab of grease on the wear path, so it lasts longer.

Re: Help - find a new part
File is called a Knife file. Smaller ones have a finer taper so you can better control the cut. Works well on threads as well if you are in a tight spot or don't have a thread file or a die handy.
