Default "The Eviscerator". Is this OT? Or Almost OT? Or Right On The Money?

I posted this for some fun.
And a little bit of head-shaking

This post is not intended to criticize anyone's choice or style of car.

Take a look at the way the two U-bolts are attached to the front frame member and the front axle

Two things struck me and I was compelled to share them with you.
I'm not sure why.
1. What kind if whacked-out front suspension is this? Does it even have a suspension?
2. What an unholy safety disaster this vehicle is! In so many ways.

Imagine, if you can, being confronted by this 'vehicle'.
He's doing 50, and you're just standing there.
Contact, and you go down.
As the vehicle rolls over you, those two bolts eviscerate every organ from your abdominal cavity.

e·vis·cer·ate - disembowel (a person or animal); deprive (something) of its essential content; remove the contents of (a body organ).
.

I love it. Can't be any worse than being run over by my Model A. You would die a very very slow and agonizing death, from dripping oil and hot radiator fluid. At least with the Eviscerator you could drill some holes in tennis balls and put them over those bolts. ;-)

Thanks for posting.

PS. No front springs? Could be a rough ride.

Nice wheels! They could be used on a real model A.

it is an abortion that most people would be ashamed to own. Likely asking price is $1.00 dollar or best offer.

Those paint colours you got in the USA certainly were dull.

The bends make them look like all-thread that was bent by hand around the crossmember. Maybe just for mockup?

if not just a mockup, it would be an absurdly uncomfortable car to drive with no springs.
of course the body mods make it absurdly uncomfortable already.......

Years ago I asked my insurance agent what modifications would make my vehicle uninsurable by their company? Trust me, I wasn't considering anything like the first post. Their answer was "if it looks like an accident looking for a place to happen they wouldn't insure it".

I think being hit by that car on a pedestrian crossing is a real possibility as poor forward vision through that slit of a windshield. Over here it would be pulled over in double quick time and you can bet it would have no useable insurance .

It's a "rat rod" mock-up. I'm sure when it's "finished" it will be as safe as your Model A, if not more so. JMO
