1951 Ford Trunk Striker
Hi All,
I am mounting a 1951 Ford trunk lid in my 50 Tudor. I have the correct latch and striker. It will release but not smoothly. My question is: what angle should the striker be mounted in the trunk? I'm at about 45 degrees on the striker angle. Anyone have a picture? Thanks, Steve |

Re: 1951 Ford Trunk Striker
This is supposed to be a '51 striker, is it what you have?
Perhaps you could do what has been done many times over the years and that is get inside the trunk to view the operation and correct accordingly. Perhaps you should post pictures of what you have.
