1939 transmission shifter
What year shifters will work with a 1939 ford top loader trans. I know the shapes of shifters are different but want to know if any other years will work on a 39 inners . I have two 39 big forks missing shifters. I have the towers.
Thanks, Rick [email protected] |

Re: 1939 transmission shifter
the difference is in the length of the bottom between the ball and the end. the reason, the slanted shift towers use shorter shift levers ( on the bottom) and the straight up tower from 37 on up use a longer one
