Default Best fasteners for std coupe rain gutter?

One of the rain gutters on my '29 standard coupe is starting to come off the roof. I can see where there are a number of holes and even a few tiny nails still in the gutter.

Does anyone know the type and size of nail or screw I should get to reattach this? I went to a hardware store and looked online but all the options either looked too big or too small. I'm also not sure how long the nail could be without coming out the other side of the wood.

Thanks!

How is the wood where the gutter was attached? If you are going to secure the gutter, you might want to consider something longer in length than the original nail or screw. Can you remove a fastner further along the gutter for comparison?

A spiral shanked body nail will be the best. If the wood is fill of holes, consider using high-quality tooth picks dipped in wood glue to fill the hole. Break the stick when dried and this may give you a bit more life for the nail to hold to.
