Didn't know a dam had a radiator! Sorry, could not resist. But your solution could be the best in buying a new one.

Just got my radiator back from one of the few old school radiator shops left, did a total rod out and repair, cost...$125.50
Run cool, does not overflow at high speed any longer and does not leak.

And there's the rub, finding those few old school shops...few and far between.

Big difference! Mine was cleaned and rodded with estimate of $150 and final price of 325 for all the work involved. In my opinion not worth $325, should have bought a new one. Wayne
