Default Re: 1930 Coupe squealing when clutch depressed after new everything

As a follow up the Transmission shop says they had to grind one or some of the adjuster screws down on the pressure plate through the inspection opening which was rubbing and making the squeal.
Took her out for a nice 30 mile or so drive on Saturday and the clutch is easier to depress and the shifting is smoother than I can ever remember.
Now if we can figure out why the 29 Pickup is so grindy. I thought maybe my technique was rusty but after driving the 30 clearly there is something not quite right.
