Default Was asked to bring the car to a party yesterday.

A person in the neighborhood stopped me and asked if I can bring my car to his Gatsby party for picture taking.

Anymore copies of the angles that I might use to decorate my car

Gatsby partys seem to be the thing. I got paid for two parties last month with the 4 door.

He offered to pay, but I didn't accept it because he was only 3 blocks from my house.

It looked that way at the Grand Rapids swap meet I just returned from. Buyers were down as well as purchases. I spent less than $50 over my 2 days there.

Our club took 7 or 8 of our Model As to a retirement home a couple of weeks ago. They were having an anniversary party, we were asked to dress in period clothes, including Tommy guns (if we had one). The staff of the retirement home were all decked out in flapper girl costumes. Even had an apperance by Norma-Jean.

GATSBY PARTIES can be a lot of fun. I went to one as recently as Saturday. Here are some photos from some Gatsby parties.

I don't think I'll be running around with a Tommy gun any more, with the cops getting so trigger happy....

That's easy to solve...you just out gun'm.
Sometimes it works, other times...not so much.

Gatsby parties!! That's cool looks like fun thanks for the posts!!!!

Tom, I fool with coins some on the side. Another of my hobbies. Went to an auction Sunday, not only was the crowd WAY down but prices were real weak. I bought several coins for a third of book value. I spoke to the auctioneer before the sale I've known him for many years. He told me that now was a lousy time to sell coins but on the flip side a good time to buy. I did just that until I spent my budget.

He said that it will come back, coins always float up and down.I buy what I like and don't care really about future values. Same with old cars. You just have to enjoy what you have and don't fret about dollar value going up or down.

I do think that we are heading for some very very serious times, and not being political, whoever gets elected is going to take the blame for the big economic bust that's coming I kinda feel sorry for who-ever takes over next the damage has already been done the last 12 years...............
