Re: Mechanical Fuel Pump?
where would it fit and why would you want it! What would it accomplish that an electric can not? Wayne

Re: Mechanical Fuel Pump?
Only if you're running a B or C block, which has a mounting boss cast in it, and you'll need a B or C cam, which has the fuel-pump lobe.
Unless you're really creative, and can somehow hang one on the valve-cover, the arm actuated by one of the valves... |

Re: Mechanical Fuel Pump?
Now, the valve cover mounting is something I never would have thought about.
You can also use a vacuum tank like my friend's 29 Stutz has. If I had some modification so it needed a fuel pump, I'd just use an electric pump. |

you have to make up a fuel cam lobe in two pieces and weld it onto the model a camshaft. Then you have to find a million dollar model B fuel pump. |
