Default 1930 Ford Roadster Sill Plates?

I tried doing a search but really could not find an answer to my question. I have a 30/31 Roadster body and there is about a 1/2" Gap all along the bottom of the door (between the inside of the door and subrail). It does not appear that there was ever a sill plate to fill this gap. Am I correct? How is this gap dealt with? Thanks!

If you have original doors, there should be a track on the bottom of the door to accommodate a door seal.
