So I take it the points are in series and spaced 45 degrees apart physically. The dwell Mart gives is 32 degrees which is still less than the overlapping Ford/Mallory spec of 36 so I'd think the Ford distributors have the advantage. The series connection could theoretically give a longer life between tuneups though.

They were built for industrial usage so dwell is adequate for the rev range envisaged and the broad foot is good for durability and longevity.
There is no vacuum hookup, just a mechanical advance. Mart. |

I've never seen these dizzys before. Were they for Pilots and Bren gun carriers.?....see you never stop being amazed in the world of flatheads.
