If I were expecting to sell a rare anything I would clean it up a tad (at least get the dirt off the rear seat cover and try to get the rust stains from a leaky water pump off the block) and take good clear properly lit photos of every conceivable angle...

Does look like an amazing car though and I'd love to have it none the less!

and was in about the same condition.

Looks like it might be a restoration from the 60's when it was put in storage...

Appears to not have the (hard-to-find) ash trays, and I'm not seeing wood grained interior trim, but the photos don't clearly show those areas. Otherwise.....could be a nice one!

this car was listed a while back and didn't sell ( don't remember what it got to) and I'll be surprised if it sells now.

Spotted that Connecticut A-400 currently on eBay. Bidding was up to about to about $18K the last time looked with reserve un-tripped. That vehicle is within strike range from here to drive up for a first hand viewing. Was thinking that if there was a $25 grand or so in the secret stash fun money account, then I'd probably make a run on that car.Why not? It's likely though, that the reserve is much higher and the A-400 will sell for more bucks. Still, just the thought of casually rolling around town in an A-400 Model A Ford doing chores on a Saturday morning would be intensely cool.

To recollection . . . old Fred Page up in Plymouth, New Hampshire had an A-400 that was seen parked in his Model A Ford garage. That was back in the late 1960s. Also too, in the 1970s I recall that Lee Atherton, owner/founder of LeBaron Bonney had an A-400. Actually sat in that one and vaguely remember the smell of the interior which I think was leather. Lee lived about four miles away from me in West Newbury, Massachusetts. Visited his house a couple of times and the car was parked there in his garage. Periodically speculate where these cars are now and how many times they've changed hands over the decades.
