Default Throttle Balls?

Who sells throttle balls, not throttle joints or Holley Balls which are short on the thread, need about 3/4 of an inch thread with a ball end that will fit in the throttle rod.

I always though someone with throttle balls was anyone who had driven their Model A over 60 mph!

Chuck in the Swap meet section is selling throttle assemblies, on page 4 right now. You could get an original one from him and then cut it off however you want.

the picture that #5 shows is perfect , but still a little short, most on ebay are still short, like the Holleys.

How about if you cut off the thread, drill and tap the ball, insert a longer threaded rod or use a bolt.

Check out cabinet hardware, as I've seen ball headed screws used on doors.

Speedway, Jegs, Summit, The Hot Rod Company are just a few of the places you can get they for a couple of bucks each.

Start with the 7/16 long piece from the vendor, add a 10-32 coupling nut, about 3/4 long, and another piece of 10-32 thread rod from a screw or bolt. You can use lock nuts, red locktite, or JB to hold the assembly together. If necessary the coupling nut can be shortened. You need 5 threads engagement on a 10-32 for full strength, just 5/32 of an inch.
