I would recommend setting your points on a dist. machine if you can find someone that has one otherwise a manual KRW dist fixture and lastly by using a ruler. Someone will chime in here on that method. You may have a bad condenser and maybe some bad plug wires leaking in the conduits.

That's a right-hand-drive car. Note No steering wheel, and the outside door lock below handle, as well as step pad on LEFT fender for rumble seat. WHERE is Spalding? DD

Here is a picture of the 1935 Ford Cabriolet from the original British Ford Sales Catalog. Note the Fender mounted Parking Lights.

What model V8 engine is fitted to this 1935 Cabriolet as they had the 4 main bearing V8 -60 engine and the normal 21 stud engine fitted to them.

I believe that's the little 22 horsepower English V8 for '35 or so, similar to the eventual American V8-60. Note Ian's complete engine (pretty snazzy, too) in the pic below. DD

Trev (aka 52merc) is missed by many of us here. We were sending pm's back and forth until his last visit to the hospital. Trev had a 52 Merc that was black with a red top, at least that's what it looked like in his avatar picture. This was one of his last posts so you can see his avatar picture.
