Default 38 pickup wiring question

Does anyone have a a wiring diagram of the light switch bail on a 38 pickup? I think I have a wire on the wrong terminal. Thank you for your time.

Attached is the link to the wiring diagram for a 1938 car with the foot dimmer switch from Mac Van Pelt's website. There is not a separate link for the pickup, so I am assuming that commercial would be the same as passenger car. If your truck does not have the foot dimmer switch, look at the wiring for the 1937 light switch.

That is easy to mis-wire. This drawing which I refer to as the "Green Switch" ought to make everything clear as mud about the switch's wiring. The second picture shows the BRASS-LOOKING piece that actually does the moving when you twist on that ring around your horn button. Figure that the three dimples in the brass ring fit into the three dimples that make-up the three points of the DOTTED TRIANGLE on the "Green Switch....WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE OFF! The two protrusions that you twist to operate the lights should be straight UP and DOWN at 12 & 6 when the lights are off.

BE CAREFUL not to mess-up the phenolic disc as seen in the third and fourth pics, as they are extremely hard to find by themselves. A cleaned-up ORIGINAL is about as good as it gets! DD
