A and B were both 3 x 2.750.

Hello, my great uncle worked for Western Union during World War Two and think he had an X sticker, having the sad duty to deliver the “regret to inform you… telegrams.He had a 39 Buick at the time. My mother in law worked at a defense plant in Cleveland she would save up the ration stamps so she could travel back to Pennsylvania to visit her parents as they had a farm she said her father would give her tractor gas to go back to Cleveland.She had a 38 Ford Coupe

ndnchf's sticker does look large, maybe the placement in the windshield. Mine is in the lower right corner and does not appear as large. Mine measures 3¼" x 2½".

I think it is a photo illusion. My sticker is 3" x 2.5".

By WW2 model a’s were over 10 years old,most were dinged up worn used cars,it’s also during that time the 16” wheel became popular.

It does make you wonder.

I'm retired as an energy manager for one of the large banks. I don't have an intrest in this, but all the whining about the drilling permits and leases on government land is just smoke and mirrors. The energy companies hold thousands of leases, and permits they have not even executed yet.

Now war may change the supply chain for energy, yes. Right now I think it is a lot of gouging just for profits.

If you are a fan of older films,notice the cars used in them if made during the war years will have a ration sticker on them. Bogarts Plymouth coupe had an A sticker if I remember correctly.
