buy a dropped axle, 1928-31
reverse eye spring and for the rear, buy a Model T spring. |

LAMO, but true. Check the HAMB. I think a search under CHRIS (whatta coincidence) or Elrod will show some good references. For starters, reversed eye front spring, 32-34 axle with perches for mechanical brakes, 16 or 17 inch wire wheels, reversed eye rear spring with leaves removed, or Model T with spacers for width difference There's about 3-4 inches, without going to a dropped axle, or Z'd rear frame. Wow. I think the nicest thing on that truck are the headlights.

Remove all four valve cores and stand back? Fordbarn is pretty much for stockers. I do appreciate a properly done rod, but the experts on this are on the 'other' site, the H.A.M.B. Good luck with your project. Even a rodded A is better than a remelt into a new Toyota.
