28-29 & 30-31 interchangable parts
I have a 1929 model a body that im trying to restore.
its missing the entire front cowl. Someone about 75 miles out has one for sale on craigslist but its a 1930-31 cowl. i was wondering if i can use the 30-31 cowl, gastank, and firewall on my 29? what other things might i need to change to get it to fit properly? |

If you were building a rat rod then maybe, if you were building a street rod probably with a lot of work (still easier to get the right parts), but if you are "trying to restore" then definitely not.
