28-29 & 30-31 interchangable parts

I have a 1929 model a body that im trying to restore.
its missing the entire front cowl.
Someone about 75 miles out has one for sale on craigslist but its a 1930-31 cowl.
i was wondering if i can use the 30-31 cowl, gastank, and firewall on my 29?
what other things might i need to change to get it to fit properly?

If you were building a rat rod then maybe, if you were building a street rod probably with a lot of work (still easier to get the right parts), but if you are "trying to restore" then definitely not.

As it is, different car styles have different cowl sections, now add different years and yes it can be made to work but it also may be quite difficult.

What doors do you have?
