Bill sez;
Been there twice. Tell him to do what his P T Therapist tell him to do. then just a little bit more each day I sez: I have had two done also many moons ago & are now beyond the warranty date. If you EVER plan on getting this done, DO THE THERAPY/EXERCISES WAY IN ADVANCE OF GETTING THIS PROCEDURE DONE. You will come out much better & heal better. It just blows me away why they don't have you do the exercises before as well as after the procedure. I'm goin out in the garage & work on my roadster now. |

Re: Skip Haney
BOB - thanks for the advice that I may have had sooner in my life had I listened to older people earlier in my life. Not saying you're old, just saying that when I was 15 and still had both sets of grandparents I could have been a better listener. BTW, when I was 15, 25 was really old!

I've been there, but I wasn't moving around that well in a few weeks, took several months for me.

Re: Skip Haney
I was only in the hospital 1 1/2 days on my second one. I knew that as soon as I could walk up & down their little set of stairs that they would cut me loose. I went home & modified a exercise bike so I could sit in a stuffed easy chair & would peddle it while I watched the TV. The wife would bend my knee while I would lay on my stomach. She got even with me for everytning that had done & she didn't like.

Re: Skip Haney
Sorry to hear about Skip's surgery and hope he fully recovers soon. He's a good guy and does good work that has benefited me.
