Changing The Rear Mount on a 32
I have had to rebuild my differential so its out of the car. I would like to change the rear transmission mount as well as the rubber is not very good. Can it be changed without pulling the engine and transmission? Or at minimum can the engine and TX be moved forward enough by disconnecting the front mounts and radius rods snubber etc to allow the mounting plate to drop down past the output shaft of the TX?

Having said that, I would think that overall it would be easier to pull the engine/transmission assembly out of the car to change the rear mount. |
