Default Restoration question,...Horn Projector

Anyone ever dismantled the horn projector to repair and then re-crimping it back together? If you have, did you have any problems?....advice?

Thanks,
Dudley

Dents can be removed without doing that, so I am curious as to what work you want to do on it?

The base is nice,..the rest of the projector is BENT! I was thinking it would be
easier to change that part out. It's a GIM,..so it's not that easy to find. So I
thought of re-rolling another part on. I'm a good "tin man",..but I thought I'd
ask anyway..

I have disassembled several for various reasons, then reassembled and soldered the connection for extra strength. don't forget to clean flux off completely
