GLASS tint questions......

I have a 53 Merc.

Does anyone out there have the GREEN tinted glass on their car? I need to buy a new piece for my rear door, but am not sure if I currently have the clear or the green tint. After all of these years even clear doesn't look clear.

Is there a way to tell? Is the green obvious or just subtle?

I found this on my back window but not sure what it means : "PPG Herculite AS2 4 83".
