Choke Arm Nut ?
I just spent last two hours trying to figure out the thread size of the choke arm nut. Anybody know? It looks like 32 pitch, but what diameter? Too big for a # 8 and too small for a #10! It looks like a #9 X 32. If the is such a thing. Henry had those carbs made by a French Co, Zenith, and they used a lot of metric sizes. TIA!

If it's 8 -36, that is one of the old American National Standard thread sizes. #8 screw came in 30 , 32, and 36 tpi. You should still be able to find 8 - 32 and 8 -36 at the hardware store.

Re: Choke Arm Nut ?
Yeah! I went looking for my possible 8 X 36 tap, no luck! I did find a new, never been used, 10 X 30 tap I didn't know I had. Surprise, surprise! But that isn't helping me. I'll try that! Thanks again !
