Default Oil filter oil line

I have a 39 Deluxe with original engine. I am looking to replace the oil line from the filter to the bolt on the distributor. I think the oil filter is from a later model. The oil line has a banjo fitting on one end and a pipe thread on the other end. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement?

You ought to be able to find a hose fabrication shop in your area that could make a replacement utilizing your original fittings..

Yes, hydraulic shops should be able to make whatever you need for your oil filter. I had one custom built for my 39 many years ago. Another in more recent years for my 52 Merc

Remember, no restriction exiting the filter, but an .60" restrictor going in.

.058 - .063 is the specification.

That oil filter return line is on the to-do list for my ‘40. Third Generation Automotive in Tenn. told me they can supply both the hose and the banjo bolt fitting.

I seem to always get my decimal in the wrong place!
