this is a very good motor
still has the hand clutch and govenor

these combine engines are very desireable...they were only used one a year and were stored in shed the rest of the year...most of them are Diamond block (this one is not all though the head has the diamond and Ford script). The diamond head was low compression because of it's deep combustion chambers which made it easier on the crank and babbitt mains.... It is a lot cheaper and more better to use a combine engine than to pay to have babbitt poured and bored....I have provin this many times...come and check it out...you won't be dissappointed...

Here's the pics of the Model A Combine engine, if Otto hasn't already posted them. This is a really good engine with NO cracks anywhere. I'll get some pics with the head removed so you can see the condition of the head and block, and add them here shortly. Larry

EDIT *** The Mallory distributor doesn't go with the engine. It was broken and I gave it to a friend of mine for his project. An original distributor will go with this engine. ***
