$3000 for the truck....pretty rare...I've played around with AA's and Model A pickups for a long time and I've only seen one of these well fenders because they have a wider well for the bigger wheels....an only a few of the side mount irons.....it has 6 good wheels also

Thanks Otto for posting pics of my new AA. My buddy Ralph Hudson told me it was kinda rare because it has a '32 80 inch wide bed and he told me Model AA's were 75 inches wide. I'll see if I can get some more pics of it posted here.

My name is Larry Roller and I'm new here, but I've been on the Hamb since 2005. I really like original old fords even though I have owned several hot rod versions. I recently sold an all original '28 Tudor that I drove daily to town to the post office, bank, etc.

I just picked up a complete original Model B banger/tranny I want to play with, along with a lot of A stuff from a local Estate sale.

Welcome to The Ford Barn Larry! I thought you sold this truck but kept the engine. I've seen factory photos of the indented door to clear the spare tire. Do the experts think the welled fender on the passenger side is a factory item or something that was added by the dealer or later in life?

Hi Bob. No, I sold the 1932 Diamond B motor out of this truck with all the vintage speed parts on it for $2500. I still have the truck and I have a Model A banger for it along with another '32 B motor I got today. I still have alot more Model A parts I got from that estate sale I'll be selling soon.

That truck is very desirable with the Budd cab. It is likely within the last couple months of production. You can talk all you want about an AR 28 or an e28 or ve28 or whatever they are calling them these days, but my heart is in the AAs, and IMO, the Budd cab is the holy grail of AAs. The indented door, and side mounts are icing on the cake. Most of these trucks were beat like a red headed stepchild, so to see a survivor in this kind of condition with these features is pretty uncommon.
Nice to see a little bit more interest in the AAs here on the Fordbarn lately... the truck that built America. And Canada too.
