1932 transmission prefix 18-oooooo question
I'm putting a 36LB V'8 engine in a 32 with it's what appears to be a 32 stock
V-8 transmission. The 32 clutch appears much different and the flywheel is indented . Will the 36 engine fit without any problems. This is the first 32 I ever worked on and am concerned the bell housing may not work between the 32 transmission and the 36 engine. Any input would be appreciated FrankPKNY

Re: 1932 transmission prefix 18-oooooo question
The '32 transmission case and input shaft will mate just fine with a '36 LB or non-LB or any other flathead V8 engine of the period. Ignore the '32 clutch and flywheel and use those intended for the vintage of the engine.

No, but sometimes I make good guesses.

Re: 1932 transmission prefix 18-oooooo question
Thanks for the information. I thought it would work with a nine inch clutch set up. I love these old Fords. FrankPKNY
