Default Coil

A fellow has posted a coil for sale which was redone by Skip. He does not mention it but i think it was for his 39 Ford. Does anyone out there know if that will fit my 36 Thanks Tom

If you’re 36 distributor has three screws or either two screws diagonal from one another then no it will not work. If it has two screws straight across from each other then yes it will fit. Picture is worth a thousand words.

Ask the seller for a PICTURE. I just saw his ad and he states its a helmet which is correct for the early 3 screw coil 36 dist.

A 39 coil will not fit a 36 distributor.
