Absolutely the best that I have ever used. I would pay more if I had to. Restored a 39 Ford Pickup using it (especially floor board screws) never had one that I could not get out after treating with the kroil. You will not regret. Fantastic on old hit and miss engines that have set outside for years. I used the regular liquid and the aero for spraying into spots that are very hard to reach. I have tried some of their other products and they all work just as they advertise.

AeroKroil is the same stuff, just in an aerosol can.

I have been using this for years and it works and is cheap. Look at the specs.

I have a 35 year old can of GM heat riser valve lube that works great and a little goes a long way hence the age of my supply. Today it is known as GM Fluid 88862628 Rust Penetrant and Inhibitor. Just another option.

Bought a gallon about 40 years ago, still have 1/2 left. Kroil really works the best (also have tried the special home made blends)and the most of the others as well.

It's really good stuff
I don't think I even have WD-40 anymore in the shop although it has alternative uses
Aerokroil is aerosol
Kroil is non-aerosol
Don't forget WD40's original use was as a water dispersant. I avoid using it as a lubricant or rust buster as it leaves a trace of silicone-like matter when it evaporates. This will tear up bearings and bushings.

Based on internet reviews alone I decided to buy 2 bottles of 8oz Kroil Oil. However I live 10000 km away in Denmark/Europe and you cannot buy that stuff in Europe. Thus, I imported the two small bottles and paid huge amounts for shipping and import tax.

This is truly the best stuff. Nobody knows it here. People just spray huge amounts of WD40 everywhere (or similar copies of WD40) and when I tell them about the wonders of Kroil Oil they just look at me like a nut case.

Here in Europe, at least northern Europe, WD40 has became such an established brand that people dont say "rust penetrating oil" anymore, but just "WD40" and everybody knows what they mean. People just spray WD40 or similar products everywhere and still snap bolts/nuts all the time. They have no clue.

But I don't like the smell of Kroil Oil at all. It smells very synthetic and chemical and tends to hang around for a long time.

I use a plastic pipette with my non aerosol Kroil oil and manage to control the amount used very precisely - also upwards to some degrees. I think if you are using a pipette to make precision applications a 8 oz bottle will serious last a lifetime.

I have used the Acetone and ATF mix for many years. Keep it in about a 20 oz. glass jar and shake it up and put into an old finger pump oil can when I need it. Can anyone tell me that they know the Kroil is even better than my mix? If so I will get a can.

I agree with your chart in the pdf if I do not use kroil I use the liquid wrench spray as it works almost as good as the kroil.

I agree with those using 50/50 mix of ATF and Acetone. Works way better than any commercial product. You do have to shake it up each time you use it as it will separate. Cost is very low.

As I mentioned that's what we use in the shop... The guys would waste the Kroil, it would need to be put under lock and key as I would have to distribute the drops when needed

I think it was Skinned Knuckles magazine that did a test a few years back on identically rusted and seized items and they ranked as best to worst based on force needed to break loose:

50/50 ATF/acetone
Kroil
PB Blaster - and it was a distant 3rd
WD 40

I've always used Kroil with great success and the spray trea reaches places you can't with the ATF/acetone
