Default 33/34 Steering shaft info

Could anyone tell me the exact inside diameter of the horn tube hole through the steering shaft for 33/34?

For 34 A 7/16" drill is too large 27/64 fits slightly loose into the worm end. I find the ID is a bit irregular to measure with a caliper maybe due to a seam in the shaft?? It may not be DOM So exact no.

Not if you remove the original brass ferrule inserted into the wheel end.
