Replacing inner cowl panel on 30-31
Hello
Does anyone know how this part was originally attached? I have new lower patches with compound curve but just realized the lowers are toast. So before I cut I'd like to have a better idea if they were riveted or spot welded before I open it up? The originals seems to have small holes along the top edge. The repros don't. Thanks! |

Both ….two rivets, each end and spot welded about 6 times

They’re more fun putting in than taking out!
If you’re replacing the the old ones were likely rusted out. That doesn’t make finding the spots all that easy. I usually just air chisel and go from there |
