That Rock Auto link is the first time I have seen them described as a "double compression sleeve nut". Sounds proper when you think about it

Yep, those are the same as used in later years. The T-Bird repro guys have them all made up and ready to go. In my case, I couldn't believe I'd managed to hang on to the companion female carburetor fitting. I can pull an engine and reinstall it no problem, but finding 2 small obscure parts that cost a dollar, forget it. Doing simple like that will kick my a&@$ for a week and a half.

I'm working on a 65 Mustang engine.... It has the exact same fitting.

Just go to their website and type in vacuum line fittings in the search window and order them online.

Most Autolite 4100's and all 2100's......
