Mystery Engine Part
I have had a bad clutch judder in my 40 ford engine and today I pulled the sump off as a PO had fitted an 11 inch clutch and I couln't get the pressure plate out.
When I dropped the sump this broken half spacer? fell out on the floor. I'm not sure where the other half is as it doesn't appear to be in the engine. The only place I can see where it belongs is in front of the oil slinger (#6310) and fits between that and the front pulley. It has the same ID as the crank snout. Is this correct and can you buy this part? I looked on Van P's site drawings and it does not show this and does not list a # I also have a 59A engine and it does not have this spacer. |
