Default bumper clamp paint

What can I use to thin the dark blue bumper clamp paint sold by Brattons?

I used the paint straight out of the bottle. It flowed out great and dried nice and smooth.

If you need to thin it I would use lacquer thinner.

Lacquer thinner would work fine ,but if you steer it well you should be fine and any brush marks should legal out.

Wouldn't the best idea be to ask Bratton's?

Contact Bratton's and ask them what type of paint it is, and what they would recommend as a thinner.....

Asking Brattons would have worked but I decided late Saturday to paint the clamps. I tried to spray it but it was too thick. Brattons listing says it is Ditzler acrylic enamel.

The paint I got from Berts came in a little bottle with a paint brush in it. It flowed on real well. Have painted up a couple sets of these already, lots of paint left.

And, that IS the truth.
I should have given the rest of my bottle away, because it was dried up when I tried to use it several months later.

There are very few projects, especially ones employing paint, that come out well when started on a Saturday night!

Hope this is an inside joke, because it makes no sense in general. Buster T must not have had his coffee yet.

It's a real life story, which makes perfect sense
