It's reinstated, still no bidders.

Joop # 20 "Now this is a nice one!"

I agree. I have both variations - one for the '28-E'30 and another for the later, wide panel of the L'30-'31. My early one is an aluminum reproduction from about 1965 or so, but my later one is an original, with the jeweling marks. The earlier version reproductions were still on the market as late as 5 years ago from Sacramento Vintage Ford, but even that is no longer available. As such, they are not too hard to find, but the later '31 Aristocrat is 'scarcer than hens teeth'.

didn't non-Ford cars of that era tend to have more gauges switches etc. on their wooden dash panels, like oil pressure, temperature, the choke rod, etc.? the Model "A" has about
the most elementary instrumentation possible, obviously in keeping with its modest price and the gas tank in its goofy position.

The 28 Chrysler had oil pressure and water temp gauges.

I put their instrument panel (after updating to 12v.) in my 29 cabriolet. My dad was not happy with the 29 cabriolet and purchased a used 28 Chrysler to replace it. Instruments and brakes were big issues for him, and the cabriolet was the last new Ford he ever purchased.
