Default 1946 Glove Box Question

This is really a dumb problem with a $20 part. Where can I buy a glove box for a 46 Tudor that fits? The normally reliable Dennis Carpenter failed me completely - so much that I can't even hack up their version to make it fit.

In this case, glove box means the cardboard-ish liner.

What say you, Barners?

This is very surprising, the one I got from Carpenter fit perfectly. Maybe you got the wrong one?

Checked the number twice - it is correct. The one I received is too narrow and too short. It looks like a 7/8 scale version.

Appreciate the inputs. I'll talk to the good folks at DC tomorrow and see how this can get fixed.

I got one from Carpenter and thought the same thing. But putting it in and installing the screws it fit like a glove.

Mystery solved. So what we got here is yer basic EBCK (Error Between Chair and Keyboard). Just in case anyone asks, the Merc version (which I ordered) is WAY different from the Ford version (which I should have ordered). Hence the EBCK finding.

Anybody need a 42-48 Merc glove box? Yours for the shipping cost - which will likely be more than a new one from DC.

Case closed. Duh.
