Default Matching Cordoba Gray

Hi,

I'm restoring a '34 Fordor in the UK and I'm having trouble correctly matching 'Cordoba Gray'. The car was originally black but I like the look of Cordoba Gray on pictures I've seen on the internet.

Problem is every pic I've got, even those of the same car, look slightly different!

So has anybody got anything in original Cordoba Gray I could use for matching? Perhaps a bit of sprayed masking or a swatch? Or is anybody currently painting and could spray me a sample on a bit of card?

Of course I'd cover the cost of posting it over here.

Thanks,

Mike

Here is a paint manual that has paint chips in it for your car that you could buy and use to match the paint you're looking for: https://secure435.hostgator.com/~dlv...=1&g=9&t=40&tn=

Color chips may not be a good match for the color. Go to Auto color Library

http://www.tcpglobal.com/autocolorli...-ford-pg04.jpg

They will mix the paint for you and give you a spray out card with the color on it. You can also ask your local paint supplier if they have a service for matching paints on antique cars. Over here PPG and other major brands have this service.

Thanks for the replies. I'll buy a copy of the paint manual and get the colours matched locally.
