I have a T-5 trans in my 1948 F1 pickup I have a problem with the rear seal leaking. I have change it two times and still leaking. Thanks for any info. BOB.

Are you buying the seal kit that comes with a new bushing too, maybe too much play is making the seal leak?

Are you referring to the seal that the driveshaft yoke goes into? If it is not sealing are you sure the surface on the yoke is in good shape (smooth, no grooves, etc.).

It's easy to get the seal in backwards. Don't ask me how I know. Is the driveshaft yoke smooth? Is there a lot of play between the yoke and rear bushing in the trans. Just things to check.
