Default Repair Manuals

I have a 23 "T" and have used the Model T Ford Service; dark green, manual as guidence. Are there other manuals that might show in greater detail, how to repair? I need to take the brake pedal out of the transmission with the transmission still in the car. This Green one is not as detailed as; for Les Andrews Modle A repair manuals. What books or manuals do you recommend??? I appreciate in advance any suggestion.

I bought the set of CDs of all the Model T magazines from the national model T club, installed them on my hard drive and use them all the time for super detailed references just about everything on a T.

That brake pedal is rather easy to remove. Just take caution to not drop the shaft loc washer and nut into the abyss of the transmission. Stuff rags (count so you remove them all) in to catch the dropped parts.

Check page 136 of the Service Manual.

One hint is if you are leaving the lined band in place, wrap the lugs or ears of the band with brass wire or nylon wire tie to keep the band ears from spreading. Once loose from the pedal shaft with the shaft loc washer and nut off, that circle brand will spring open and wedge in the pan. Sometimes a bugger to get back in place.

Are the CD pictures very detail like the Black bible? I wish some one had really crisp pictures on the reprint manuals.
