Default 8ba crank collar removal

I need to remove my 8ba crank collar that is directly behind the crank pulley to install an earlier pulley to clear the crossmember on my 32. There appears to be no room for a conventional gear puller. I'm assuming the gear must be pulled to in turn force the collar forward.Would appreciate any insight. Thanks, Ron

This is the "try it " forum. If you really want an answer I suggest that you post this on the early V8 ford forum.

Thanks, However question has already been reposted quite some time ago, for whatever reason the web site would not accept my inquiry in the appropriate classification at the time.
