Folks-here is a link that may be a big help in finding all the "strange" Ford fastners-people on the early V8 portion of this web site swear by Roy.

Tom,

There is an excellent store in Culver City, California that has what you are looking for in brass at $.52 each. They are Culver City Industrial Hardware, (310) 398-1251. They have an entire wall of bins dedicated to fasteners.

They can't be brass because the original butt plate screws are steel and raven, with a special small diameter slotted oval head. I'll try to fix these two on my lathe. Someone has a pair on ebay for $14.
It'll be a cold day before I pay $14 for two small screws.

Oh wait........it's only zero outside right now!

Your local Fastenal is also a good place for screws and such that you can't find in the "Chinese outlet" stores.
