Default Mechanical brake(s) floaters?

Mechanical brake(s) floaters?

Thank you all again for your replies re 'original mechanical brakes'. Regarding floaters for ’33, the only supplier that I’ve found = Ecklers, Mac’s#, and it is “discontinued”. Firstly, are there suppliers ‘out there? Secondly, Are floaters necessary?=85% braking surface I’ve read. Thirdly, Are floaters unnecessary, but great if you install them? One can ‘lock up’ mechanical brakes? (I never could!) THANK YOU.

Floaters are a big improvement. Flathead Ted a
Member on here has great floaters. I can lock all 4 sheet 60 miles an hour in my 36 with rod brakes. They work fantastic.

Try FlatheadTed, no space, as his username. I think Snyder’s Model A parts may offer his floaters.
