I know that they have been introduced in England into the parklands, people thought it was a good idea. For more info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easter..._red_squirrels |

Re: New Snyders catalog
Use of trees for pulp is not the problem. Loblolly pines are strategically and systematically raised and harvested for pulp wood. They are “long term” crops; 20 year green beans! Yes hardwoods are a bit different scenario.
The problem comes with discard of finished product. Landfills are over worked, over used. RECYCLE! |

Re: New Snyders catalog
I do alot of business with Snyders and my catalog came 3 days ago. One advantage on a "hands-on catalog", at least for me, is that you can browse through it and find items that you didn't know were made or available, and then possibly purchasing them. I don't browse internet catalogs but simply go to the specific item desired. I hope that the catalogs keep coming in the future.

We also have wild peacocks that are originally not from California. So I can see how squirels get to Germany.

Re: New Snyders catalog
I also prefer paper catalogs. I find if I go front to rear when putting together an order
I don't forget anything. Its too easy to miss items using the online catalog. I make a list, then buy on line. Plus I like to see what new items have been added. (or deleted) THANK YOU SNYDER'S.... |

Re: New Snyders catalog
Snyder’s has been good to everyone in this hobby….whether you know it or not.
Many/most of the parts all major vendors carry originate from Snyder’s |

Re: New Snyders catalog
I use the paper catalog to find things I amin need of, then order online. Sometimes it is difficult finding items in the online catalog using the search engine if you don't know the exact name of the item.

Re: New Snyders catalog
With the coming TP shortages perhaps a catalog or two might come in handy. It worked for granddad.

Re: New Snyders catalog
I learned most of what I know about my A from studying parts catalogs. Different hints, drawings from each vendor. Catalog will show hardware, gaskets, springs, etc . pictures of original parts and modern if available. Information that is useful
