Arvin heater update

Some ov you have requested photos and updates on the Arvin heater installation. I finished installing it today except That I am not happy with the placement and wiring for the speed control of the blower. I temporarily installed heater so you could get the idea. I will lean up switch location and wiring later.

The first pix how I cut the floor board so as to be able to service battery without disturbing the heater mount.
The second picture shows the strap I used to strengthen the left board. A similar strap is under the right board. The straps tabs fit under the forward board and I drilled and tapped them so I can bolt them through the upper board.
The third pix shows the left board from the top (note the tapped hole for the small bolt).
The fourth pix shows the boards and the heater bolted to the floor. The gear shift looks like it hits the heater in low gear but it does not.
The last pix is as installed. The thing on top is the speed control rheostat. This will be relocated for appearence sake.

Now I have heat for Winter and A/C for Summer. I like to.tour in comfort. Next I am installing a flathead Ted's deluxe kit.

That is a good spot for it. Looks like the shifter is hitting it, but that may be a camera angle?

No, the shift does no hit the heater. Read the text on one of other posts.
